Waumba Land
Waumba Land is a safe and secure environment for our birth through pre-kindergarten children. Waumba means “Creator” in Swahili. Our desire is for every child to leave Waumba Land knowing that,“God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.” We do this by offering nursery rooms and classes where trained and dedicated teachers make your child feel loved and appreciated. Waumba Land is a place for kids to come and grow in their understanding of God and His creation.
Waumba Land Schedule
During the Sunday 9:30am service, 3-to-5 year olds will attend a group worship time called the Rainforest Rally. The Rainforest Rally allows 3’s and Pre-K’s to experience Bible stories, games, crafts, puppets, and fun in a group setting that is the first step towards learning to worship in “big church”

Waumba Land Curriculum
Our teaching curriculum reinforces the “Bottom Line” - a monthly focus that teaches children “God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.” We provide resources to go home with each parent to reinforce what was taught in the classroom.
Waumba Land Policies
The safety and well being of your child is very important to us. For this reason we require security cards for every parent and child and photo ID badges for our staff and volunteer staff. Only those parents and guardians with security badges and staff are allowed into Waumba Land. Each class is equipped with emergency supplies and a two-way radio in case of emergencies. Police officers patrol our premises during our weekend services.
